NEW SCRAP ROOM

Well the entire Basement is finished!!! I will post pics of the rest of the basement once we have everything on the walls and stuff. But here are the photos of my room! I LOVE IT!!!!!

Scrappin is on hold....

Well, I had to pack up ALL of my scrap stuff for about 6 weeks! The good news is it is because all of my stuff was in our basement that is not finished and we have some COLD winters so it really sucked in the winter to have it down there, but I have SOOOO much stuff that it would not fit anywhere else....so anyway my Husband is spoiling me and having the entire basement finished!!! Oh I can't wait, HEAT, CARPET<> it is going to be awesome down there....but until then I won't be posting any cute things...BUT I will be scrapping the day it is finished so I will have lots to come :) Thanks for stoppin by!

Our Disney Cruise

Ok Ok, I will tell you all about it :) Well I can't tell you evrything, it would take to long! It was AWESOME! BEST VACATION EVER!! We only did the cruise NOT the land. We have been to Disney before and we wanted something more relaxing! IT WAS!! We went to the bahamas and Atlantis, swam with Dolphins!!! It was SOOO gorgeous!!! Then we went to Cast away Cay, Disney's private Island and it was so much fun! White Sandy Beach with a little bit of Disney thrown in there! On the ship was DELICIOUS food and great entertainment for the whole family! My kids LOVED IT!!! We are not that big into amusement type of things so this was great for us, The kids were entertained all day and they would crash by 10:30! It was so nice not to have to do the entertaining! If you have any specific questions about it just ask. We already booked for next year!! Now when I say this is my favorite so far, keep in mind that I have been to Hawaii, Cancun, Disney and many Beaches....It was a true vacation for us and the kids, we did not come home tired and for two whole days I totally did not think of anything from home!! I was having so much fun that I forgot about my life here at home, that has NEVER happened! I really can't say much about the Bahamas because we went straight to Atlantis and spent the whole day there, you can stay at the Bahamas or go to Atlantis, it is up to you....Atlantis is more Beautiful that what you see on TV on the commercials! I will try to post as many pics as I can, I took 318!!! But they will be posted on my other blog http://tammis-family.blogspot.com/

I see that I have not posted since April 9th!! I really need to post huh? Well I really don't have much to put on here just yet because I have not had any time to scrapbook! I have been so busy with work and the kids not to mention we went on a Disney Cruise!!! IT WAS FABULOUS!!! I plan on working on those pics very soon. I also need to do pages for Stamp Club! I will be posting some things soon, I promise!

Easter Basket

Easter Treat Box

I started out with a 8 1/2 inch circle that I used the cricut to cut. Line it up with your grid paper or mat and use a ruler if necessary, make a pencil line on the left and right sides of the circle at "2 3/4 and at 3 3/4" and score . Fold along the 2 3/4" score line , then line up the fold along the top edge of the personal paper trimmer. You are going to score at: 1 1/2 and 2 1/2" on the left and right side of the circle while it is folded. when you are aligning your folded circle, you are lining up the largest part of the circle with these dimensions. Crease along all the score lines.

Using your micro tip scissors, cut out the two smaller pieces of the circle, following the innermost (towards the center of the circle) score lines. Flip the circle over. Stamp all over the back of the circle. Flip the template back over, fold in the side flaps, and tape along the left and right edges of the bottom flap bring up the bottom flap and align and stick onto the side flaps. Take some CS scraps and run them through a crimper. Using a paper trimmer, cut them into very thin strips. Crunch up the strips and gently rub them between your palms. This will become the filler for your treat box.

Memory Box

I created this memory box for a friend of mine for her bday next week. I used the silhouette paper from CTMH.

Heart Bags

I needed to come up with something that 3rd and 4th graders could do that would not take a lot of time. These were pre cut with the Cricut Bags Tags, Boxes and more! I needed 50 so it was nice to have the cricut precut for me :) Then they can just decorate and put some candy inside! Cute and Fast!

Kids Valentines

These are the cards my kids are making for their class...Bobby's is of course the Dinosaur and Taylor's is the Dog. They are 4x4 after they are folded and they have a snack size pack of M & M 's in them. I wanted to make it simple yet cute because they are only 8 and 10 and we have to make 50 all together!

The Winter Blues

I do not like this cold weather! I need warm sunshine! I should have been born down south! Or maybe I should have moved down south long ago! Well it is all to late for that, I have a business and my hisband has a career and the kids go to a great School. So here I am, up late....can't sleep. My husband and I are taking the kids on a Disney Cruise in May and I CANNOT WAIT!!!! I am done with the colds, the flu, the stomache viruses!!! I am not into winter activities like sledding and things like that. I like the Summer activities like water skiing and swimming, walking, riding my bike and cooking out, lounging around the pool! People around here seem to hang out a lot at the bars......The last time I went out to a club was with my friends for Christmas over a month ago....we are not to much into that now that we are older with families, we do try to have a night out with drinking about every 3-4 months which is enough! It takes me that long to recooperate. But we do have a glass of wine and girl talk in between.
I have been taking the kids to the movies, or to get icecream with friends. I am running out of ideas for them to do, so I have been letting them play on the wii or the ps2. I have been catching up on my scrapbooking and catching a movie and lunch with my friends. I am looking forward to my movie night that I am having at my house on Feb 15th. I invited all of my friends to bring a movie and a snack to my house and we are going to have a night for chick flicks! So I am just rambling on about my life.
I will post pictures of my scrap book pages tomorrow if I get time, I have a Silpada home show to do at 4pm!

I'm Back

Hey! I'm back! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year! Ours was great! I had a very relaxing time off with my family. I can't believe it is almost over, back to School Monday for the kids and back to working a full week for me on Tuesday. I enjoyed playing games with the kids, baking, making Gingerbread houses and just being home with them. I also had to time to scrapbook! I made a display album for my good friend Heather for her Birthday. It took me a total of 9 hours. I wanted to make something for her because she is so talented and is always making things for other people! Here are the pictures of it, all she has to do is put her pictures in it! I titled it Memories 08 so she could put in snapshots of that year! I must admit it was really hard to part with once I was finished.I also made about 8 pages for my own books and plan on making more tomorrow. I do not have pictures of them yet but I will take pics and post those as well!
